Chrystal Heart Organisation is a child and youth focused organization founded in January 2018 by dynamic and like-minded individuals working in development sector.
They have practical experience and technical knowledge in health, HIV/AIDS, community development, sports and talents development child protection and capacity building to address the most urgent and pressing needs of the community and affecting positive changes to the lives of underprivileged, youths, orphans and vulnerable children. The founders were driven by extraordinary dream to see the day no child and young person would be deprived of their right to quality education and health, equal opportunities, dignity, protection and development.
The dire social, economic and health situations of children and young people living within the community were among the reasons that provoked the founders to establish Chrystal heart Organisation.

In October 2018 during our mentorship programs with young people through sports one of the youth challenged us that we needed to do something bigger and structured aimed at improving the living standards of vulnerable members of the community with better structures. We took up the challenge and began the journey of officially registering the organization with the government and on 20th December 2018 the organization was officially registered with the Ministry of East African, community Labour and Social protection.

Goal

The goal of CHRYSTAL HEART ORGANISATION is to contribute in improving the living standard of the vulnerable communities in Siaya county through community mobilization, capacity building, advocacy & strengthening of available institutions.

STRATEGY

Chrystal Heart strategy is participatory, self-sustainable, community and volunteer involvement using case management approach which puts the people (households) at the center of their own development, they gain livelihood skills, financial literacy and building their capacity to become resilient and self-sufficient.
